SWAYBO
"Work Yields Rewards!"
What we love to do
SWAYBO, is a business organization for youth from middle to high school age.  We
open membership to a few exceptional elementary schoolers who have the ability to
learn our curriculum and participate in our program.  In weekly meetings, on Tuesdays
from 6:00 - 8:00 PM members attend lecture and learn how to take their business
ideas from imagination to creation and operation.  SWAYBO students use their
earnings to finance annual education excursions that take them around the world.

These excursions serve two purposes.  First they serve as the much deserved reward
for the hard work of developing and implementing their business ideas and reaching a
financial goal.  Second, these excursions take the youth out of their own community to
experience their citizenship of the world and yes, to meet business and government
leaders on their travels.  Through these adventures they learn that the business
principles they have learned are used throughout the world to conduct trade. SWAYBO
is a 501C3 non-profit organization.
Lecturers and Leaders
Our lectures are lead by professionals, Ms. Bettye Cooper and Mr. Kelii Stinson, who
devote themselves to teaching the SWAYBO curriculum.   SWAYBO is privileged  to be
associated with the Atlanta Business League and holds weekly meetings in the ABL
building.  Guests lecturers join us to share their experience in the business world.
SWAYBO enjoys the support of government officials who occasionally visit/ host
SWAYBO events to teach about government's role in trade. We also enjoy the support
of the SWAYBO Board of Directors.  The grand ladies of both Alpha Kappa Alpha
Sorority, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority support SWAYBO through providing market
places, scholarship awards and service. SWAYBO is happy to receive the support of
many civic and religious organizations throughout the Metropolitan Atlanta community.
